Project Updates
*Kitchen Renovation
Its been an exciting week with Craig, our contractor, making sure everything kept moving along at a brisk pace.
The Electrician was in and started to run new lines which will allow us to have more counter plugs and even plugs on the new islands.
He also wired for 2 new emergency exit signs that will bring us up to code. Thanks go out to Bert Larocque for bringing our attention to this issue.
Plumbing - As some of you may know, we identified a fairly big drain problem that was also wreaking havoc with the downstairs bathrooms .
The blessing is that we can will fix the issue now and not have to dig up the kitchen and hallway floors in the future. The cost is fairly substantial but even with this "blip" we are still on budget.
Next Week we look forward to more plumbing, electrical and drywall work.
In the meantime, we are asking that you stay out of the downstairs area for the next several weeks, thank you.
Click on the link below if you would like to see some pics of the progress (Thanks Trevor)

Stained Glass Windows/ AV Booth Update - We are expecting to start this project around the end of May but are almost ready to go. During the renovation the Tech Team will move their equipment down to the church level which will allow for uninterrupted service.

Project Updates
*Kitchen Renovation- In the blink of an eye it was gone!
Everything started last Saturday when our amazing volunteers, led by Eileen Hussy arrived to unload the kitchen. In record time, tables appeared and things were dug out of cupboards, drawers and closets!
We found lots of surprises, including things that probably hadn't seen the light of day in quite a while. Everything was sorted and items that were deemed unusable were redirected to the upcoming Garage Sale, or the garbage/recycling bins.
Many thanks to everyone that donated their time and energy!
Tuesday morning the construction crew arrived and in the blink of an eye, the kitchen as we know it, was gone. Trevor Smith our resident photographer managed to capture some of the excitement. Click on the link below for some pics.

*If you would like to see the renovation "in person" see Laura or Ross on Sunday for a tour.
Stained Glass Windows/ AV Booth Update - Not to be out done!
Not to be outdone by the kitchen crew, Rev'd Grace also led her team on Saturday to reveal a whole new space. Dust was tamed, furniture re- rearranged and clutter was banished to join the garage sale. We are now officially one step closer to be able to start this renovation.
Thank you to all those who braved the stairs to lend a hand!
